    My heart hurts. She was really a special girl who deserved so much more. Thank you to all the rescue angels that made an effort to give her a second chance that wasn't meant to be.

    I'm so sorry...she was such a lovely girl.
    Lighting a candle for Kate tonight. I'm glad she got to find a little love at the end, anyway.

    Godspeed sweet Kate.... my heart hurts for you. In the end, you were with people who cared about you and did the most selfless thing, by letting you go, to live in a place where you are fat and sassy and feel no pain.

    I cry tears for what was not able to happen, the chance for you to stay with us on earth. A donation has been made in your memory, in hopes that it will help to save the next one. Thank you to the rescue angels that watch out for sweet ones like you.

    Kate felt no heaviness in her heart, no grief at the end. She was happy, and she looked forward to the next adventure. If only we could face such certain doom with that attitude.
    She was/is a gift, returned far too soon.:hearts:
