They're keeping Jethro overnight! Dr. Moore and Dr. Longo wanted to take a look at his hole but didn't want to sedate him for just that, so they're going to NEUTER HIM TOO:faint:
I know he'll be OK, but send those for a widdle monkey pants man:hearts:

Tons of snip-snip coming for Captain Monkeypants Snowflake Baby Boy :D Just doesn't seem like it is time for him to have that done !!!
Andrea, you had said that Dr. M wanted to do the hole surgery when Jethro was 9 months - do you think he will do it before Buda? Or after, so he can nyark for his many fans

9 months was the original plan, but he's been suffering so much with the seasonal changes and that thickness of the mucous, it wakes him up at night. He can't sleep under the covers because he can't breathe as well as the other dogs, and he has to sleep with his head elevated and neck elongated. I made sure to ask that he get a rolled up towel in his cage. He ate dinner so he's feeling better than he was this morning.
so are the looking at the hole in hopes of being able to go ahead and do something sooner to make that sweet boy more comfy?
(well, aside from the big snip I mean)

Poor little guy needs to catch a break. Wait a minute he did when he joined the Aninapals.

for Jethro.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
