Waters is coming to me on a transport Saturday. He was found as a stray in Watersboro, SC hence his name. He had a few rough weeks but is doing fine now.
His story as posted by Mike. Waters was rescued on January 25, 2009 in Walterboro South Carolina. He was a stray and his dachshund best friend had been hit by a car sometime during the night of Jan 24th. He had been diligently waiting for his friend to revive in the road all night, when I saw him under a church sign across the street from his deceased buddy in 40F temperatures and misty rain. as you can see he's coming along nicely. . Thanks to a kind person he is now wam and happy.

In the end there is a happy ending to this sad story.
There is a video on YouTube with similar situation, both dogs were on the highway one was injured, and the other dog was trying to drag he's buddy to safety.

Waters is here in VA now. We had a vet appointmetn and everything check out fine.
HW free!!!
His weight is good at 16.6 Pounds.
He is about 5 years old.
Cat friendly
Loves other dogs
Does well with children.
Now we just have to find him a home.
