Scouty used to shed almost all his bristles and just had a mohawk that went from his head to past his shoulders. The rest got pretty naked. But he was never a very hairy pig..
They also can sunburn so you gotta put lotion on them which can be an interesting experience.....Amy, Laika, Owen and Salsa

Oh yeah...YOU like it!! Scout HATED it so it consisted of a screaming pig running with me chasing him and getting swipes of lotion on wherever I could reach. And believe me, he could SCREAM. Or maybe yell is more accurate. Sometimes he sounded like a really upset old man. Originally Posted by Barb

Cute lil' piggy!!! I want one a lot but my husband would NEVER, EVER live in a house with a pig (sigh). He's a "foreigner" and they have different ideas about what constitutes a housepet & what definitely doesn't!! I had a full-sized sow as a pet when I was a kid....didn't live in the house, though! Our little pet dog used to climb up on the pig's back & take a nap!!
