    Default agile wieners and bugs

More agility this weekend. Couldn't BUY a freaking Q on Friday (well...we got 3 total, one for each dog). Salsa was evil, evil I say.
Although she did a BERRY hard gamble ( gamble is where the dog has to work away from the handler-handler can't cross a taped line and the dog must go out away from them and perform a sequence of obstacles)...I think it was the first real distance gamble she has done. But was just a hair over time so didn't qualify but it was awesome nonetheless!
Saturday they got everything except Owen Ween jumped a contact in Standard. dam. But he ran so fast and happy all weekend. Laika had such a fit friday only running once the club owner kindly let me see the maps for saturday so I could see if I could enter her in something else (I don't want her on contacts or weaves) so she got to run twice. Slightly happier. I also ran Lilly the cavalier saturday and we qualified in everything. It went on and on though....got home at 9:30 sat. night. I ran four dogs in the last class. Geez. It was a blast though.

Great as always. Taffy would love agility, but her mom cannot run. Not at all. I feel bad about that.

Those are awesome pictures! I wish I had the time to dedicate to doing agility. I'm sure Sammy would be good at it (can three-legged dogs do agility? I mean, is it permitted?) Physically he is able to do it, he's extremely strong and muscular, very good at following lead and very fast.

Three-legged dogs are allowed in CPE...I've seen a couple of tripods running!
I believe they may have to have vet clearance. I don't know if other venues allow it.
I like CPE a lot. I think it stays true to the spirit of what agility should be. Having fun with your dog. They accomodate dogs with differences. If not for CPE, I couldn't let Laika do any agility so I am very grateful for it.

What kind of allowances do they make for the owners? Taffy runs like the wind. I can barely do a slow trot.
