I have bought iron on velcro--ironed it on and then sewes it on...You never want to realy on it just cause its iron on...The stick they recomment not to sew on--the sticky stuff can mess up your machine...the iron on I have used a lot with no problem on the sewing mchine plus it sorta pasts it on there for you....The sticky stuff I never use...Every experienced sewer I know has had problems with it messing up the machine,.
By the way--your sewing looks pretty good.

The other thing you can do is fold a bandana into a triangle and then into a strip, put a diaper in it and tie it around the pup with the knot at the top of the back. It works well and does not leave elastic marks on the peener.
