Recently, I'd returned the part for the truck that was EXPENSIVE since the A/C Compressor wasn't broken. Still had the gift card in the truck so the company put the amount, minus restocking fees and whatnot back on the card. My mind reeled with the possibilities of what to buy for 218.75, and it settled on dog food. I figured I'd cruise on down to Slidell later this week and pick up some food for them. I left the card in it's little pouch on my side table. That was my first mistake. Katie likes to steal food items from that table, and I guess that in her attempt to do so, knocked it down. OK, I'll look for it at bedtime.
Bedtime rolls around and I walk by Dexter's crate...and I spy some paper chewed up. I look closer, and not only was the little pouch chewed up, the FRIGGIN DEBIT CARD IS TOO
Now, I can still use the card online, but to actually go and get the food will be cheaper.:bleep: SO, now I have to go to the bank and hope they'll just cash out the card for me, since it's not sliding through much of anything chewed up the way it is.
Sorry no pics, because the numbers are still legible, but the edges are sufficiently chewed about an inch into the whole card all the way around.
I know to never trust the dogs and cash. Now debit cards are in the mix.
