Dallas does have notches in his ears. My vet commented that he looked like he had earrings and they were ripped out.
And yep, the L/H guy is Roofus, who was actually just hours from death when I got him, as Dr. Longo informed me this week. He was so sick, I'd guessed he wouldn't have lasted the night. They said, "no, he wouldn't have lasted a few more hours" So, he's not as much of a doxie as I'd originally thought, his angels clouded my vision and told me that he was enough to pass for one, so I took him and my vet saved him, and he is now her favorite.
