    Default Very Worried About Sophia

Sophia is going downhill fast. She'll eat, but the food comes out the other end unprocessed, not absorbing any nutrients, and she's wasting away right before my eyes. I will bring her in tomorrow, and hopefully there will be something they can do for her.
This last poo wasn't even formed like the others had been, just runny and bloody, and food obviously unprocessed at all.
for her, that she's not in pain and maybe there's a miracle fix for her tomorrow.

O poor girl Many many that she isn't in any pain and they can find something treatable.
There are malabsorption syndromes...caused by various things. EPI, or perhaps just a lack of the correct flora/fauna in the digestive tract or parasites.
Perhaps she could eat some yogurt with active cultures today???

I've given her yogurt mixed with the food, and it's not helping.

She has, but she's really getting weak from the lack of nutrients getting to her system. She wolfed down the eggs Friday, not so much Saturday, but then scarfed down the rice and hamburger...this morning, she barely touched it. The big piece of hamburger she ate last night was staring me right in the face in her last poo experience.

I'm sure they'll do a full blood panel but if not you might want to make sure they check kidney function as well as her pancreatic enzymes and liver.
In case it's intestinal disease, maybe you could really grind up her food today in a blender or food processor?
Poor girly...we'll be thinking of her and sending all the there are.

Poor Sophia...tomorrow won't come fast enough.... will she eat just straight yogurt, so that she can get a good dose in her?
