Red face He IS the Teacher's Pet, but...

Piper didn't pass his beginner's obedience class the 2nd time through. :sadnana:

His teacher adores him, but he didn't pass because he won't walk. He plants himself and won't budge. :shifteye: She didn't see much value in him doing the class again, so on Tuesday he will start Rally Obedience. We'll see how he does with that. John did beginner's with him and will also do the rally obedience. Wish them luck!!! :cheer2:

I'm with Janet on this one, I think Piper thinks he's too smart for beginners.
Sounds like Rally Obedience would be more his style, have fun and good luck.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

Awww, we still love Piper the way he is! Sebastian used to be so good in obedience. I think now he's decided that he'd rather look around more than listen to me. But the traner also said that the L@@K he gives when he does it just melts your heart. You can't be mad at them!

Piper will do great! I can see he would be teacher's pet though - he is adorable after all! :hearts:
