What do you feed your kitty? I've been feeding dry, but recently started feeding some canned food. I read that canned is better for them, but am at a loss as to what is the best. Thanks for the suggestions!

For wet I feed 9 Lives and for dry I feed something that comes in a green bag that has natural in it somewhere. :o

I used to feed Franny S.D. KD (for bladder stones) but she was getting super skinny so I decided to feed her whatever she would eat. She's been doing really good on this cheap crap so she's happy and I'm happy.

Go at it the same way you would for dogs. The more meat the better for kitties. I've been feeding my 3 survivors blue buffalo for kitties, and I'd have to say there's been less barfing in general, as it seems to be a hobby for them. Never been a big gooshy food feeder, but that's because I've always had more than one kitty.

I have to say even though Franny is on cheap Wal-Mart stuff she doesn't barf up a lot of stuff (thank goodness). And I feed her as much as she wants of it too.

I feed mine dry. Personally, I don't like the smell of wet food. :vomit: Tigger just licks off the juice and won't eat the rest, so it's a waste of food/money. He's a picky eater and I finally found a food (Purina One Vibrant Maturity) that he likes and will eat. Since Conan is a year older, they both get the same food. I just think it's funny they call it "Vibrant Maturity" it's not like the cats can read, they could have just called it "senior formula".

We feed our two cats Purina ONE Special Care, for Urinary Tract Health since they both have had issues with developing crystals in their bladder and getting blockages. Haven't had any problems since feeding this particular food and they really LOVE it. Tried feeding canned food but it caused some major diarrhea for both of them no matter how slowly we tried introducing it.

Since I feed a lot of cats (most are ferals) I free feed Meow Mix, Innova, Friskies Dental dry they get Friskies canned food at night.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
