    Default Back from vets

Mika and Theo could not have there annual vaccinations because Mika has a small skin infection on her muzzle and Theo still has an ear infection.
Both had blood tests to check for heartworms and lime disease..both were negative!! Will go back next month for the shots. Both were very well behaved and didn't growl at the vet or the vet tech. Vet was very impressed how white and tartar free Mika's teeth were. Theo on the other hand, has some stains but he had lots of meds when he was a baby and the staining can be from that...going to have to work harder on his teeth. I can't remember who mention ebba III or something, a product for their teeth, did it work?
They both love their vet, he treats them so well. I like him too because he takes time to answer all questions. All in all, was a great visit.

    Great news!

Theo's teeth could be stained from some of the meds that he had as a pup. If that's the case, it probably won't come off, but since it's staining and not tartar it also won't hurt anything.

Amy has had great success with Leba III. I got some and was using it on Miller's teeth and did see improvement. I've got to get back to using it.

Good stuff on the heartworm test. Sorry about the ear and skin infections :(

I have used LebaIII, it is an awesome product. I have just switched to Petzlife Oral Care Spray which is a 1/3 of the price $24.99 CAD at Petsmart. The ingredients seem pretty much the same. I was extremely happy with the Leba, but I am going to give this a shot and see if there is a difference.

Great news on negative heartworms That alone is good news. I've used other stuff for my kids' teeth, with poor results, but never Leba III. I think I should try, although with persistent brushing it has yielded good results.
