    More for Pixie.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

Tons more coming for Pixie and just as many for you, Vicki! As I found out, the only definitive diagnoses of IBD is to do a biopsy, but the symptoms are pretty unmistakable . that the drugs and food (:cheer2: says Pixie) do the trick. As for the disk, keep us posted on that, ok?

Pixie slept very well last night (and so did I ).

Dr. Claus said that the muscle relaxant would make her sleepy, which is not a bad thing, considering she may have been in quite a bit of pain, poor girlie. She's much, much better today. Ate her rice with chicken (with a little yogurt added), is pretty good at taking her pills with peanut butter (aren't they all?), although she had a bit of soft poo this morning, but just a bit, the rest was firm -- I think it could be the meds. I'm hopeful she'll be fine, and I'll be watching her like a hawk. Any sign of pain off to the vet she goes.

Thank you so much, again, for the rayz. These rayz are medicinal and magical, I swear

    For good night's sleep

I'm glad Pixie seems to be doing better. That the meds keep working and she's fine.
