    Default Sadie

On of my friends and co-workers little doxie passed away the other day. It was during a routine dental and there were no signs of anything wrong. Sadie seemed so healthy and had just two weeks earlier had her annual checkup.

She was a wonder little B/T piebald. Only 10years old and Mom Laurie is devasted. Please say a prayer for Sadie and her Mom Laurie.

We are meeting tonight for dinner and she is donating all of Sadie's beds, toys, food etc. to rescue. It will be a sad dinner.

Rest in Peace Dear Sadie, I will miss your sparkling little bark.

That is so sad, Yo. Sadie and Laurie will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Maybe in a little while Laurie will be ready for another doxie to enter her life and heart and can adopt one of yours.

So sad. Lighting up a candle for Sadie to find her way to the Bridge (not that she needs it).

Worst nightmare for all of us whenever we take our dogs in to have something done that is supposed to be "healthy" for them. I'm so sorry. Please send Laurie our condolences!!

It is especially heartbreaking when it is so unexpected like this. A routine procedure and then gone! It happened to my beloved Katrina last August 19th and I will never get over it.

I am so sorry to hear this. A is lit for Sadie's journey to the bridge.

p.s. I think I'll put off Trxie's dental for now.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon
