Nola is getting her gaping wound fixed today. Dr. Moore and Dr. Longo let me look at it and showed me what they're going to do to fix it, and she's going to get her teeth cleaned as well, as they were pretty nasty looking. She was a very good girl as they pulled the bandaid off her fur (they had some super industrial type of bandage on her to keep the wound clean) But it was festering in there and there was pus and gunk. She may have pulled stitches out. She's in the best hands, but I hated leaving her there knowing what a week she's had.
I made sure the shelter director got to see her happy in the burrow bed last night, it's all she wants to do is snuggle. She slept in the big bed with us all, and was a bery. good. girl.
