    Default "Fixing Broken Dogs"

I didn't make the title, but this is a video from the Montreal Gazette, and there is a shout out to Helping Homeless Pets & Dodger's

Please ignore the pronunciation of Dachshund

LOL... Dashhound... funny, but a lot of people pronounce it like that. I have not heard from Margaret in a long, long time, but I've "known" her for years. She used to post to the defunct DDS (Disabled Dachshund Society) board.

I am kind of surprised mine and Margaret's path haven't crossed. She is on the board of Helping Homeless Pets. I know Rob Goddard very well and of course Linda Collier is the amazing lady that helped look for P'nut night and day. She must have been at Wienerfest, I will have to look out for her next year.

I can't get the video to play. I'll try later.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

Yes, very nice video. Margaret is awesome. She is on another board, where I first met her before coming here.
Linda has been trying to get some cream for Mona across the border to us, but the post office keeps stopping it and will not let it come, but she is trying to send it by way of a person now.
    Both are nice ladies.
