    Default Sidney

Hello everyone! Some of you may have seen this post already in other boards, but I am asking for all fingers and paws crossed as my sister is looking into adopting this ADORABLE furbaby. She has already talked to her DH and he said he would consider it (this after he said NO MORE DOGS!) When he gets home from hunting, they are going to go meet Sidney. He seems like such a sad dog, and I think their little family o'weenies would do wonders for him! I will keep you posted as I hear more. Here is the link to see tihs adorable yet sad little guy...

Sidney looks so sweet. Fingers & paws crossed in CA that he is adopted by your sister. Adoption on the way.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

Cara is *un*patiently waiting for an email from Leslie about Sidney...she's trying to be as patient as possible but is driving herself nuts!! I guess Leslie is supposed to be getting in contact with the lady Cara rescued from before, Cindy in Va. BIL saw the pictures of cute lil Sidney and that was enough for him!! Cara said Leslie had told another family about Sidney before they went away for Thanksgiving, so we are hoping that she can get him as they have yet to see Sidney at all. (He wasn't posted on the site until they left for T-giving) Cara assured her she wanted Sidney and that she was willing to pay the adoption fee right away. The other glitch is that the lady prefers to adopt in state...and Cara is in Va (they are in NC). We are hoping and  ing that once Leslie talks to Cindy things will go our way!! More and  would be MUCH appreciated!!

This is not good, one Doxie Rescue in CO is firm on not adopting out of state. :(
