Unfortunately it was not. There was a family who had gone away for Thanksgiving who was told about Sidney before they left (and befroe he was posted on the site). They are the ones who adopted him, but thank you all for your well wishes and

THe right baby will come along! Try talking to SSDR, they have a 2.5 yr old male who is in a kill shelter and is fixing to be PTS if they can't find him a place. I'm trying to convince DH to let me foster him.
