Default Agility Halloweenie Weekend (Pics and video added!)

So I splurged and went on a two day stay at Motel 6 Halloween weekend agility trial. Sonja (organizer) planned some special events, like prizes for hightest point snooker, jackpot, fullhouse, and a costume contest sat. and a poop raffle (get tickets for each poop you pick up during the day LOL. Owen tried to make sure Iwon! I did not) We went friday and saturday. Friday my dogs had a perfect day. Owen ran 3, Laika ran 3, Salsa ran 5 and we Qualified with firsts in all! I also ran Lilly the cavalier and she qualifed in 4 of 5! 15 runs, 14 Q's . I also decided to show off and go for 3 7's in Snooker. Snooker is hard to explain but there is a closing part with obstacles done in order number 2-7. You get the points that the obstacles are numbered. But before you do the closing sequence, you must do a red jump, a numbered obstacle, a different red jump, then another obstacle (can be the same one) then ANOTHER red jump and a numbered obstacle (can still be the same or different) then you run the 2-7 sequence. You need a certain amont of points to qualify so you don't need to get through the last ones of the sequence, depending on how many points you get in the opening (you also get a certain amount of seconds, usually 40-45 depending on doG knows what. Little dogs get more time).
ANYWAY I decide to show off and go for three 7's which is maximum points if you finish. 51 points. With Salsa. It was so funny. I have video and the comments are hilarious. I'll post it when I get back to my "real" computer...Rob is gonna put it on youtube. She was awesome although we didn't quite get through the last 7-she got 44 poitns which is more than enough. Laika won the prize for most points!!!!-45!!! Out of all the dogs. NO dogs made the three 7's. I ran a different plan with Laika.
There were a gazillion people there saturday. tons of fun. Salsa ran 5 more (qualifed 4) owen ran 2(Q'd 1) and Laika ran 3 and Q'd all three. I haven't run her this much since her surgery but she's been sooo wanting to do more than 2 a day I tried it. CPE has some games that are shorter (only 10 obstacles or so and I runher as a Specialist so she can run the easier lower level courses) so entered her in those. She was awesome.
Went for three 7's again in Snooker with Salsa and did it!!!! I don't know if there is video or not but if there is I'll post it
We won the costume contest too I also won a 50% off entry certificate in the worker's raffle Much fun was had by all...good runs, good friends...silly times. Animated frankenstein hand walking around..people in costume...good food, CANDY, cute dogs, fast runs. SOOO nice to get away

And better yet, ROB was home from his SPAIN vacation and moved stuff into my new house while I was out having fun Granted, a lot of it was stuff I said he could store in my giant garage but a lot was mine too.
The dogs were the Fruit of the Loom guys. I of course couldn't take pics (had three dogs in costume off leash cuz the leashes don't work with the costumes this year) so had my hands full but I did snag one off facebook. But it's on my real computer which is now at the new house... I'll be over there again tonight or tomorrow.

Amy, that video made me get a bit misty. Your girl has come so friggin' far from having back surgery just two years ago to winning ribbon after ribbon.

I am truly so happy and proud of both of you. She is such a special girl. :hearts:
