Default Going to be a sad Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving is going to be the first big holiday without Dumbledore sitting there begging for turkey, sweet potatoes, and dressing. It also marks one month that he has been gone. He went to The Bridge October 25th. His 9th birthday would be next Saturday, Dec. 4. We are probably going to plan a Dumbledore Rememberance Day that day.

I can't even imagine how tough this time of year will be for you and your family.

I think a DRD (Dumbledore Remembrance Day) sounds awesome!

awww, it IS sad :(. A Remembrance Day is a great idea.

Hope you and your wife and the 3 little wizards have a nice Thanksgiving, even though it will be a little incomplete.

I'm so sorry David. I can relate, as this is the first without my Buddy. I just realized they were just about the same age. Buddy's birthday is Dec 28, and he too would have been 9. I think a DRD is an awesome idea as well.

David, It will be hard however you and the wife will make it through. As I tell myself, "Just place him in your heart and smile every time you think about the joy he brought to you" You know what you will be smiling all the time.

It does get better but the firsts are hard. He's still with you, David, and always will be.

Very sad! We never forget them. Nine is just to young to go to the bridge.
