Rayz for the Pixel Man please -- Good update #36

Pixel is having some kind of back issue. We were not sure if it was muscle or back, but since he is not getting better the vet decided to go with back and treat it like a bulging disc. He is doing the drunken sailor walk and is in pain. He will be starting on Pred tomorrow. He has been on Medicam for the past few days and you can't mix Pred and NAISD's. Usually it is a longer washout period, but the vet is confident that 48 hours will be fine for the minimum amount of Medicam Pixel has had. He is starting on Tramodol immediately for the pain 3 x per day for 6 day.

Strict crate rest, only out to potty, leash and butt support.

Any rayz for Pixel will be appreciated. Some sanity rayz for me and Rafi too would really be helpful.

Laika had to switch from an NSAID to steroids too-they gave her two stomach protectors (pepsid and sucralfrate) and it was fine. And it had only been about 24 hours.

Dear Mr. Pixel. This is The Professor Buster Brown. I have been through this myself young man. Let me give you a word of wisdom. Take this quiet time to study and reflect. I had 2 compressed disks and the crate rest helped both my body and my mind. I had time to read and be peaceful. I was able to come out with my 10th book on Invisible Irrelevant Numerals.
