    Default Jax

Jax jumped off the bed today (2feet high at the most) instead of using the ramp (brilliant move). He yelped when he landed. He's walking ok, but he's not as active as usual. Going to keep him on crate rest for the next few days & we'll go to the vet if we need to. This is just what I needed right now....

Lots and lots of rayz for Jax. Pixel is not himself the past two mornings and I am really worried that it is his back acting up as well. I agree it could just be that he landed wrong and is sore. Crate rest is a good idea.

Maybe he's just reacting to what going on in the house?

Update:it's definitely his back. He doesn't pass the "toe test" with wither back foot. I have in a crate with me at work and we have a 9 am vet appointment. I tried to go straight to the surgeon, but they are full for today. If intake him to the regular vet first, they can call him in to the surgeon as an emergency & then he can get in today. So that's what we're going to do. I will update here when I can. For some reason the mobile app on my phone isn't working so updating here is harder. I can get to FB from my phone & I will ask someone there to post here when I know more.

Thank y'all for the rays and support.

P.S. I told John what was going on and he said "I don't blame you for Jax getting hurt, but I do think this happened bc he's been playing with other dogs lately.....". I don't have time to deal with John today.
