another Baby Genius update...

At class yesterday (LOL class I'm teaching with Pat. we don't make much money but I get to train Segue so I don't care!!!) Segue did 6 weave poles. Fast. head down, really focused. No wires. he loves to do them. He's had a total of 3 training sessions on weaves...prob. about 20 minutes total!
He also sequenced three obstacles at home last night-tunnel, jump, and hula hoop (cuz I don't have a tire and was too lazy to go get another jump )
He does everything very fast and will go out ahead of me to jump or do the tunnel. He's quite amazing and really really loves to do it.
He can also:
sit
we are working on down..he almost can do it-that's the hardest thing cuz he's so wild
wave
touch my hand with nose
touch with foot
go to a target and touch it
sneeze
do head turn
spin
play piano
JUMP over the piano (he came up with that himself yesterday while he was demo-ing piano playing at class)
leaning to stay. But in the agility way. I say "Ready...." and he sits and waits. pretty much. still working on that. I should be able to say Ready...set....go! I don't want to tell him to stay...I want him to focus on the GO. he can barely contain himself though.
And he's sweet, silly, bad as anything. he hs this habit of racing to me when I call him, leaping up on me, flipping in the air, landing on me on his back with his front legs sticking straight out in front of him. Looks like a monkey.

I'm tired just reading this, Amy!! Good thing you're a high energy person too! What a smarty pants...you're going to have so much (more) fun with him!!! Has Da Bug taken to him any more?

Sometimes Salsa and Segue sleep on the same bed...not touching, cuz they are liddle and can do that. Salsa tolerates him but is very jealous. Owen played a little with him this afternoon but mostly just cuz of excitement over me being home. Salsa also worries about him taking her stuff. cuz he takes things. I just found 3 of my socks in the backyard.

thanks for the update, Amy. He sounds like a hoot (in the best possibly way ) am glad Salsa is tolerating him a wee bit more now, too.
