Beautiful pic. Hard to believe you have snow, it's not even winter yet.
They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

We got the storm, but fortunately here it showed up as rain, not snow (although there were hurricane force gusts of wind ). The northern part of the province wasn't so lucky...they got about a foot and a half of snow. ITA with Lisa...that much snow in October IS just plain wrong. As was having to deal with black ice on the roads this morning on the way to the barn . HATE winter, and so do the dogs.
