They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

He's not a lot better, although I did get a little tail wag this morning (first in quite a few days) and he ate most of his b'fast AT b'fast time .
Laura popped by for a quick supper last night and we talked about stuff. We're going to try adjusting his heavy duty drugs (topamirate) and weaning him off the prednisone he's been on for his skin allergies. He's also on penicillin for his mouth (it's got some infection in it, and of course, he's not able to have a dental) which will be finished by the end of the week. So that it helps!!!
He's also really sore through the shoulders and neck (praying that it's not a disc, cuz that would be BERY bad!!!), and in need of an adjustment, I think. Lots of heat and massaging is helping a bit. (Laura's away for a week, but I've got a chiro appt for when she gets back.)
So it's a day-to-day kind of thing, poor little guy. It's killing me to see him like this. I miss my joyful little spirit!!!!!
