    Cooking recipes can take more time, and often uses non-meat ingredients.
    And I'm cooking-challenged. Ohhhh yeah.

    Dehydrating liver takes me 1 minute to plop whole raw livers onto trays, then I set timer (10+ hrs) & just ignore it until it rings, at which time I shove all the dried pieces into a zip-lock baggie in kitchen cupboard. Total time: 2 minutes, plus hand-washing 3 trays.

    I'm thinking: why not just pure raw meat? It's yummier, healthier, and cheaper. Win-win! When giving treats, I tear (or snap) off a leathery piece.

    Liver kinda stinks, so dehydrating it is banished to the basement.
    And dehydrators aren't free, but it's slowly paying for itself.
