Sarah Ellen (Opaleyz) called me on the way to University if Illinois with Lili. She asked if I would post since rays are always a help!!!
Lili had been having a recurrence of IVDD sypmtoms last night, then this morning was draggnig her rear end, although she COULD support her weight some. They decided to take her right away to U of I.
The vet there says she still has sensation but surgery is indicated...Sarah Ellen agrees since this is not the first time Lili had had problems and it's worse this time. She talked to Lisa, I know, also. She just called me and said they are taking Lili in for a CT scan, and if it's clear where the problem is, they will go right ahead with the surgery.
So please sendand good thoughts and whatever else you do

Sarah Ellen just called and, due to an emergency that just came in, they are postponing Lili's surgery until tomorrow :( Hard to wait, I know, but the neuro would prefer to do it with full staff on board since Lili has movement and sensation in the rear. They of course will monitor her all night.

i hate to hear about the wait but feel positive about our beloved Lili being the center of the universe during her procedure tomorrow.
