We had a photo shoot today
Peaches is our newest (and last) addition. She is a 12 hands high welsh pony that was rescued from a sale barn :(. She is the gentlest soul and follows my boys like a puppy dog. Her owners, who've had her since she was a foal, raised her with a little girl who has now outgrown her and doesn't have time for her anymore. Well. WE love her and she's happy here. She's 8 years old and as sweet as they come. She and Ruby became fast friends.
She needs some weight put on :( We wormed her and got her on the best food out there: SafeChoice and alfalfa hay. She will be going with Adan to horse camp this summer. They are going to bond so freaking much!!
I had my iPad out with me, taking pictures. I turned the camera around so that Ruby could see herself. She is a hot mess. LOVES herself!
Size comparison:
Ruby is 14 hands high and Peaches is 12 hands high. Ruby is 865 lbs and Peaches is 500 lbs. She needs to gain about 50 pounds, though.
My baby girls get whatever they need. Today it's skin so soft and fly masks! I'm also using a LOT of DE in their stalls.
And ME. I can't remember when I've been so happy. My life is complete.

And I just realized today that my eyes are two different colors. My right one is green and brown, like my maw maw's were and my left one is blue. Freaky-freak!

I've been around horses my whole life, but never had MY OWN. I'm so grateful to God that I have this opportunity now and a husband who wants nothing more than for me to be happy.
