Oh, I forgot. Everyone also get peanut butter first thing in the morning which is a leftover from when Cash had to have pills in the morning and, of course, you can't give PB to one and not the others.

We've always fed them 2x daily, but we're considering the idea of 1x/day. The folks on rawfeeding@yahoogroups.com seem to advocate for just 1 feeding per day, so a bigger slab of meat gives doggies satisfaction of a full belly and cleaner teeth from longer chewing time. We may give it a try.

I always feed my dogs 1x a day in the evening right after work. They do get a P'Nutter cookie every morning however as I go out the door.

Once in the morning, once in the evening, but we leave a bowl of dry food out if they feel hungry through the day.

No kidding! Mine would eat that bowl of food in record time. And then Cash would sit and guard it just in case some more food showed up

Wow - mine, too! Mine get 1/4 C 2x a day, with a treat or two in their Kong balls in between. If they free fed, they'd both weigh 50 pounds; besides, it's hard to know who's not feeling well and "off their feed" if you free feed.

These are my two:penny & Sparky
All the dogs are here as we have a new grandchild so I am letting them learn the baby scent before they meet him. My dogs are stout. Especially Sparky who was even wide as a puppy. We stopped free feeding due to weight issues.

Mine get 1/4 cup for breakfast & again for dinner. Jax gets a heaping scoop while Julie gets a level one. When my mom watches them they always end up getting more.....
