Default Butters - Or HRH's intervention

I just returned from a "whirlwind trip" to SC for a family reunion and pick up 2 shelter dogs and 2 puppies.

While there I think HRH Duchie pooped into my head, out of my mouth popped " what about the small red one". The shelter worked looked at me very surprised and said yes we do have a little boy but he is "mean and bites and we think has heartworrms". Without even seeing him I said give me "Butters".

Butters is skin n bones, and HW+ but he is a sweet heart. He is tiny like my Goosie was.

Introducing Butters or the dachshund I am convienced HRH Duchie saved. How else did I know he was there no one told me. Th shelter was just going to put him down thinking no one would want him. Weel I did!!!

Don't know yet but I suspect bad, he has a bad cough already unless it is a kennel cough. Going to the vets tomorrow.

Yo, you are awesome! Thank you for saving him! He was definitely destined to be rescued by you and Duchie who is still doing her great work.

He was probably scared - shouldn't the shelter realize this? Thank doG for you, and Duchie too!
