If I remember right, there was a "Rottie" puppy and a "Chill" puppy when Amy stopped by to show you the bundle o' pups... and somehow you felt drawn to the former???

WE had the choice of "Rottie Puppy," "Clowny Puppy," and "Spooky Puppy," and we took the last two .

Okay, we took the two longhairs. But I digress...

We've started leaving shoes on the floor this year. The girls are 9. So far, so good.

Cassie ate my auto insurance card last week, however. I have 1/2 an insurance card with a ragged border in my purse at this time. I am sure the police will be just fine with my explanation if I am pulled over .

Kim: Amy surprised me with this puppy so she chose. And - sigh - I'm sure she chose right. I would not be astonished to wind up with both... My friend Kristy received Chill Puppy as a gift and I'm not sure she's up for it.

    OMG!!!

I'd offer you my old futon in case you have to live in your kitchen for 6 months of puppy-wrangling... but unfortunately, the girls ripped a hole in the plastic mattress cover, crawled inside, wandered around, and piddled. We cleaned and taped, they ripped it open again and repeated their actions. Futon was subsequently trashed.

The havoc that can be wreaked by two dachshund puppies is greater than the perceived sum of the parts.

So the old "they'll keep each other company" thing is more accurately "mass destruction mulitiplied exponentially?"

Yes. They kept each other entertained by trading ideas of things that apparently needed destroying .

Although I will say we were worried because people say, "If you get two, they'll bond with each other and not pay attention to people!!" That was not the case. They both much prefer our attention .
