I know you were out of town, but just checking to make sure you don't forget there's a PUPPY growing up. Fast. I thought we took a million pictures of our two, but I still wish I took more .

I'm really just making sure you're TAKING pictures. We don't need to SEE any, or anything. Of course, if you WANTED to share....

I agree. We wish we took more photos of our dogs when they were younger. There is nothing cuter than the look of wonder in a puppy's eyes. We want to see the "baby face".

....or maybe I have just had a passive, geriatric hospice doggy for so long that I had NO MEMORY of this part of puppyhood.

these are from yesterday, and I am working on setting up to replicate Duchie's infamous red shoes pose with Savannah. Thought it might be nice to have the same pic with my first love AND with Cujo... errr, I mean Savannah... and frame them together.










Pink princess bed courtesy of Andrea Newborg. She sent it to Duchie shortly after Grrrrt crossed the Bridge, and as Duchie would NEVER chew up anything, it has lasted all these years. So, I figured I better photograph is FAST before Cujo eats it.

I lived in my kitchen on an old futon for 6 months after we brought the puppies home , because they couldn't be trusted in any other rooms. Something would get destroyed or piddled on within 30 seconds; they were always a few steps ahead of us .

I also happen to know there is a file of Baby Savannah pics at the office. My puppysitter Levi who works for me is quite the shutterbug, and he took a bunch while I was gone.
