    Default OMG 77# Dachshund

This is total animal cruelty. I hope he lives to enjoy a happy, healthy life with his new guardian.

They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

Yep, I am following him too.

His new guardians are doing right by him. Slow and easy. Over all he is healthy. At the last weigh in he had lost 7#.

OMG, that's awful! I did a home visit at a place where the current dachshund/bassett mix was very overweight but nothing like that.

I think Obie is adorable, but am I the only one who thinks he resembles a seal?
It's very sad, but he's doing so good in his new home already (I love her FB updates).

That's a cute dog! He must feel terrible weighing that much.
