    Default DROH Halloween Party

The DROH Halloween Party was last weekend. The theme was "Dawn of the Dachshunds" but I couldn't figure out any way to make zombie costumes for dogs so I went with fruit salad. Then we decided not to take Scooter which left me with an apple and some grapes so I turned them into the Fruit of the Loom guys. They hated them.

So, anyway, here are some pics of some of the cute costumes. Here's a Wonder Woman doxie

And a very cute little female long hair B/T

    A scarecrow

    A superhero

    A very sweet angel

    More to come . . .

Here are Cash and Miller with their dad before costumes

And here are pics of their costumes that I took at home and at the party

    Grapes

    Apple

The silent auction was awesome and I got a really cute dachshund purse and some dachshunds plates for my plate rail in the kitchen. A good time was had by all. I hope we make some money!

Not the happiest fruit of the loom guys ever ! But definitely some of the cutest!!! Nice pic of Jim too!!! Looks like everyone had fun. Rae, I think that angel costume has SJ's name on it .

There's a Hallowe'enie in one of our parks here (all dogs, not just dachsies) on Saturday and I somehow got volunteered to do the ElderDog table. Alone. They're expecting 1000 dogs. And kids. And are giving out candy. Is it just me or does this seem like a recipe for disaster?? I debated taking James, but I'll be there for 5 or 6 hours, and with all those dogs, I think maybe he's better off at home.

I started this thread last night and was very tired. When I looked at it this morning, I realized I left out my fav costume at the party so here it is.
