Default Wind and rain and Hurrican Sandy

... the dogs and I are hunkered down for the duration of the storm. naturally, none of them want to get there little feet wet -such prima donas.

So far it is only high winds and rain. TThe weather service for my area says my impact time is between 7 PM tonight and early tomorrow moring.

For all of those north of me in the path of this monster be safe and let us know how you are doig.

Glad you are fine, Yo!! We survived here in New England with minimal damage. Karen is fine in Mass, too. All good news! Be well.

We got a snow day out of it!! The Buffalo area was hit with some strong wind (59 mph was the highest) and a ton of rain- record rainfall- but so far our power is still on, no real damage. My sunroom carpet is wet by the doggie door, but that's it! The storm is still heading our way, from what I'm reading online, though our local paper, which I have little respect for, said we "dodged Sandy's wrath" despite every other news source said Sandy is still going to hit us overnight tonight. So dumb.

I'm just excited to get a free day off without any real damage!
