I've given my dogs antlers for years and have had no problem with cracked teeth or anything. They do like them and they last a LONG time.
And just a note, ALL antlers, deer, elk, moose, reindeer, whatever, are shed naturally. They come off in the fall and grow back in the spring.

They do! Here are the antler arches in Jackson Hole, Wyo. They're made with naturally shed elk antlers

I knew that and thats great! (that none are killed, I dont like hunting)

None of my boys have had an issue, so far. They chew but not hard and prefer to lick their bones.

I have a whole cabinet full of deer antlers. Dumbledore used to love them, and to the point where I had to be very careful with any antler handled knives. He would take them and walk around carrying a knife sideways in his mouth. Bella and Minny want absolutely nothing to do with deer antlers, and seem to be afraid of them. Even just the little spikes.

We got our moose taster today! Perfect Doxie size and at $6.00! A great deal. Rusty was first to try it and he loves it. We need to buy more :-)

That looks like a great size! I'm going to have to look into getting some of those for my dogs.
