    Default Antler chews

I just wanted to share a link to a site for antlers. These things are dang expensive! especially at the pet store like PetSmart or Petco but this site actually has a decent price for them and they are Moose not deer antlers. The antlers are naturally shead too so no moose were harmed! yay! I just ordered one from this site to see if they will like it. I ordered the Moose Taster Slice $6.00!!! and thats with shipping. When I get it I will let you know what its like. Im hoping its not small like the ones at the store, at that price are tiny.

Do let us know how your dogs like them! I'm always looking for chews for mine.

The one in the video looks pretty big. I guess we'll see . . .

I will post as soon as we get it. When you go to Buy Antlers tab, click on for dogs under 20 lbs and thats the one I got ours. Here is a photo on thier page of a smaller dog with the one I bought. The video does have a big dog, they sell the whole antler for some! omg! lol. and some are a little bone on a rope.

I kind of like the ones on the rope. Miller might even like those because he loves his rope

I like the idea that the antlers were shed naturally . Let us know how they go over. The girls love bully stucks and CET chews, but I always have to be a little mindful of Cassie and digestive issues.

Fwiw, rawfeeding@yahoogroups.com often warns against weight-bearing (eg, femur, etc.) bones of large animals, saying that those tend to cause cracked teeth. I'd guess antlers are similarly hard material. Unlike softer chewy bones (eg, raw pork rib).

That's really funny! I've never had a dog do that.

I've given my dogs antlers for years and have had no problem with cracked teeth or anything. They do like them and they last a LONG time.
And just a note, ALL antlers, deer, elk, moose, reindeer, whatever, are shed naturally. They come off in the fall and grow back in the spring.

They do! Here are the antler arches in Jackson Hole, Wyo. They're made with naturally shed elk antlers
