Default Not food but nobody told Savannah!

I worry she is going to bust every tooth out of her head on these nylabones she loves so much. Snap crackle pop when she's chewing. Chewing to kill! I replace them fairly often because she gnaws them down to nubs... I trim as we go with scissors so she doesn't get chunks but dang!
    That is all.

Alex was like that with them too...serious nomming going on! Better there than a chair leg . I wonder how she'd be with one of those chuckit balls, or a tennis ball. James LOVES those and they're the only thing he'll chew (although he's always up for killing a stuffie ).

What about rawhide to change off or the very hard rubber? That little girl of yours is one little Annie Oakley of a dog. She is just full of energy and surprises!

She is going to be the death of me. DH shot another coyote today, almost in the yard, and she wanted to go check it out.

Jeez. She is such an aggressive chewer I'm scared to give her rawhide a very often at all. I watch her like a hawk but I worry she will get a chunk off.

She's a joy. Truly. She will be one on May 1 and I just can't believe it! Sadly, it will only be 7 weeks after that that it'll be a year since I had to let Duchie go...

    Still hurts.

Peaches was awful with nylabones, so I tried the red kongs. No. Go with the black kong bone...it is a favorite around here.

    Raw cow leg?
Mine love Deer ribs. The guys at work kept us in good supply during Deer season.
Can you ask the meat dept. at a local grocery store to get in some marrow bones? My Food City carries them in the frozen meat case beside the frozen turkey's. Hey, you could give her a frozen Cornish Hen!

    Sorry. I got nothin'.

Tracy she IS very interested in the cows next door - likes to bark them away from the fence. Maybe she's trying to get her own raw cow leg and I should explain that one must not nom on LIVE animals... it's not polite.

I give mine raw bones and Scooter sounds like he's scraping the enamel off his teeth. He alternates this with sounds that make me sure he's cracking his teeth open, but it's keeping his teeth sparkling clean and white.
