    Default Izzy Bean's 1st Day!!(and story)

(Since her story has been requested, here it is):

Wednesday afternoon, one of Springfield's animal control people found a crate, full of sh*t and pee and a starving dachshund in it. Yup. Some idiot threw her in the trash!!! Luckily, her crate was put on top of the dumpster instead of in it.

She was brought to a local shelter(which "says" it's no kill~but that is SO not true) and our inside source who volunteers there immediately called Karen(our dog sitter and head of the rescue we belong to)
Karen sent out a quick blurb about "Diggity" who was also called several other names. And as soon as I saw her, I knew. Just like with Pippit. I knew that we were meant to be. And I immediately called Karen.
So, these are the pictures that I first saw:

Izzy Bean is most likely not even 2(we are going to say her birthday is 10/03/13) and full of energy! She went to the vet on Thursday and (other than being malnourished) is perfectly healthy! The vet doesn't hink she would have survived another day in that crate. She weighed in at just under 9lbs~and she should weigh about 14lbs. She is scheduled for her spay on 8/27~if I can get enough weight on her..... .

And kissing? She can't get enough! She will come bounding in from the other room, steal a kiss and be off again!

(and just cuz I love, love, love this one!)

She loves her pink sock monkey I got her(I love being able to buy girlie doggie things!)

She is just a love bug! She slept in the crate all night~not a peep out of her(and I can't believe she still loves her crate!)

And Ron? He just didn't get how I knew I had to have her. Talking about how hard it will be with three dogs........well~he loved her after about 5 minutes!

Oh my, what an awesome story in which Izzy found her fairy godmother. Gonna be easy street, now, Izzy. So lovely how they show immense gratitude in kisses, etc. Such a pretty girl. Glad she's so healthy. And happy. Just wow.

    And he LIKED it!
I'm so happy for Izzy Bean and the rest of the family. She looks too much like Duchie did when I found her... She'll be the most grateful dog ever, Karen.
