    Default Canned Solid Gold-Very fatty!

For several months the canned Solid Gold Turkey has had way to much fat in it. Finally got fed up skimming and draining the fat off and returned the last ten cans I bought. Exchanged them for the canned lamb. The lamb is better, but still fattier than in the past. At $2.50 to $3.00 per can I can't accept this. Anybody else have the same problem?

No, I make my food. But have you spoke to their customer care department? When I contacted Fromm's about a flax free formula they were outstanding. Solid Gold is a reputable company and as far as I know they still manufacture in the USA.

I used to feed Solid Gold and they have always been a reputable company. I agree with Lisa, contact the customer service dept about it.

At $2.50 or $3 per can, isn't it cheaper to buy real turkey meat from the butcher at your regular grocery store? We do.

I know Linda at Solid Gold. A few months ago I spoke to her about this problem. She said I should e-mail pics. Have been very busy and didn't do it. Since the problem is worse, I will call her. Thanks for your replies!
