    That's pretty much what I did. I didn't renew my membership in their guild. I don't care if they are the biggest one in Houston. I figured I didn't need that.

    Quilting is supposed to be an individual art. How rude & insensitive of those people not to graciously appreciate your efforts, especially when you are honoring a dearly beloved pet. Can you post a photo of the quilt?

    I always thought the "patch work" quilts that were made of scraps and bits of beloved items were the best things ever!!!
