Default Night lights and LED collars

Has anyone tried LED collars? Any recommendations?

Buddy wears a night light (or 2): a red Glo-Bee (see http://itsadogslight.com/gloBee_dog_light.htm ) which is a super bright red light, and both sides light up. Glo-Bee are the very best LED lights we found, for this purpose. One Glo-Bee clips to Buddy's back, on the harness D-ring. Another Glo-Bee dangles from his collar, but it hits the ground while sniffing. He LIVES to sniff. Hence the collar idea?

Our local pet stores don't sell lighted collars. The Glo-Bee company seems to make lighted collars, but they're too small for Buddy's 16" neck.
Has anyone on DLC found a good alternative LED collar for doxies?

I haven't, but I'll be interested in what you find. I've thought about getting them for mine so they're more visible when we walk at night.

A lot of our walking group members use the led leashes. I personally haven't tried one, but they seem to work. Our wal mart even has some inexpensive ones that may be worth it for the experiment.

Ooooh, I like those Angela. I like that they slide over their heads. It would be really easy to put them on for walks. Waterproof is also a plus just in case one of them decides to go after the ducks in the pond

Edit: I just got to the price page. Yikes! A bit pricey.

Those ARE cool, Angela and a much better price!

Mine can find things to bark at even in the dark.

Funny how frugal they are with LEDs. I wonder why collars don't have more (20+) LEDs for visibility at any angle & distance?

The $53+ GlowDoggie collars are kinda rich for me, yet really don't need to be so waterproof.
I prefer the (price of) the Dog-e-Glow collars, and ATM I wonder how visible they are at night on a doxie w/ nose to the ground (not good, say mixed Amazon reviews)?
So far, cheapest are these Flash-n-Glow, but only available for mini-sized dogs: http://itsadogslight.com/flashnglo_dog_light_collar.htm

Thanks for all the great hints. :-) Keep 'em coming!
