I'm so so so sorry that James is gone and know the emptiness of the house...when I lost my Kerby at 16 we only had her and it was so difficult coming into the dogless house I hated to go anywhere. You are the best dog mom ever.

My heart is breaking for your loss. James Jeffrey was such a personality that I could feel his presence through your posts. May God grant him a happy afterlife and may his beautiful memories bring you a measure of comfort and peace. You were wonderful companions to each other!

Paula, I'm so very sorry for your loss of sweet baby James. I can't even imagine how you must be feeling. As you know, James was one of my favorite of the elder statesmen and I loved all of his pictures and stories of his adventures. He was very well loved=you could see the love between you in all the pictures. RIP little sweet man.

He was met at the bridge by a short lil German lady who was surrounded by our guys - they were all celebrating her birthday so am sure his homecoming was a joyous occasion for him - yet definitely not for us:( So very very sorry...
