Since it's been cold outside, Miller doesn't really want to go out so he goes out the side doggie door and poos on the ramp (which is about 18 inches long). If I don't find it and clean it up, he will later walk in it and track it in the house. The first time he did it, the DH was home and he held Miller while he fussed and I cleaned poo off his foot. The next time it happened it was in the morning while I was getting ready for work and home alone. I tried to clean it off but the wiggling, whining, fussing dog defeated my efforts. Trying to figure out what to do, I thought that I'd put him in the bath tub with hot water and just let him walk around and soak it off. Miller won't jump out of the bathtub since he's lost vision and can't really tell where he's jumping. I usually listen to the radio while I dry my hair and get read for work. On Monday morning, I dried my hair and got dressed to the dulcet strains of Miller songWhining, crying and occasional barking
When he was right on the verge of howling I took pity on him and took him out of the tub. It worked like a charm! I took a towel and dried his feet. No poo! I have now solved the problem of getting icky stuff off of Miller's feet by myself.
