I miss him lots. I am thinking of getting some sort of necklace that I could put some of his ashes in.
Salsa is doing surprisingly well. But she does not like to stay home. like EVER. There's a lot of sadness and drama when I leave. she prob. misses being curled up with her buddy on their pile of beds...
I took her to the vet with Owen. She was not there for the euthanasia but she got to see him after. She knew he was sick..she was stuck to his side that whole awful week. But afterwards, just a quick sniff and she was like...ok. what's next?
still doesn't seem real some days.....Amy, Laika, Owen and Salsa

I can't imagine the pain of losing an otherwise healthy, happy dog who had such a sudden decline. The Duchess was old, old, old... it's certainly very different.
I've never been there, but friend I hurt for you. And for Salsa, who lost her BFF.Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Wagoner 1993-2012.
