There is a big dachshund specialty coming up on the July long weekend and I've decided that I will be showing Georgia then. I've never had any classes on conformation so we went to our first class last night. There's a dog show in 2 weekends so there were 12 dogs working on the mats with some on the sidelines. I stayed on the sidelines with Georgia just to let her get used to the place and all the big dogs. Once that dog show is done and the crowd thins out, we'll get started. What a lovely group of well groomed and combed dogs. lol
Georgia was making cutie pie eyes at the retired couple behind me with Cocker spaniels and before long they were giving her treats and patting her, telling her she's a pretty girl. I think those folks have been trained for a while now. lol
