That guy is just sick. What I think is weird is that his wife is the office manager. Why wasn't she charged with the abuse to the border collie also??

I guess because he's the licensed vet and it was his responsibility, but I am not sure how it all works.

Oh Suzanne what a gut-wrencher!! There's no way to know this kind of thing could happen when choosing a vet, but I'm sure the concern over the dog he treated must be really tough. Hang in there, and may he receive the highest penalty then be put in a cell with a dog lover. Named Bubba. Who weighs 400 pounds, is angry, and feeling amorous.
