    Default Lisa

This is Lisa my newest wire. She is a 4 year old breeder dog and her hair is just horrid. She is being spayed next week and is adorable otherwise. I have her daughter Karly also. When I heard she was available I just could NOT let another breeder get her. The last picture is Karly and what Lisa hair should look like.

As for her hair she has the wires top notch, beard and hair on the front knee, otherwise she has very short hair. I asked if she had been groomed and was told " ...no never... that is jut the way she is..." So out side of good grain free food and Solid Gold Sea Meal what do you all suggest?

I'd go with the food first and see what that does for her coat. How old is she? Cash was just under 2 when we got him and had a really short coat (for a long hair). A few months after we got him, his coat suddenly came in thick and fluffy. A lady I know who had done some breeding said that sometimes their coats don't come in until after 2.

When I first saw this thread I thought Lisa and Rafi had adopted another dog

ITA with Patrice...I've also heard that sometimes their coats don't fully come in until they've reached full maturity. (Do dachshunds ever reach that point ) I'm so glad you took Lisa in too, Yo. She's gorgeous! Lovin' the Mohawk!

Well, her coat should be in then. I"d try some good nutrition first and see what that does and go from there.

I thought this thread was going to be about our Lisa, too!
