Default Cassie seems to be doing better

It doesn't seem to be as uncomfortable for her to breathe, and I have not noticed her shaking today. She is also eating better. She and Angel went out on the porch and she wandered around sniffing for a long time. Now everyone is napping.

She's had two doses of Clavamox. We will see. I have to admit that if anyone would present with an atypical form of pneumonia, it would be my respiratory-challenged dog.

That sounds like a positive reaction to the drugs. Keeping my that this means they are working and Cassie is on her way to good health.

Clavamox is the reason Sofie survived her puppy pneumonia. She had to stay on it for 12 weeks to finally beat it because after only 2 weeks course she would relapse and develop pneumonia in a different part of her lung or on the opposite side. And that is after her x-ray taken and everything looking clean. So, watch Cassie. She may need more than 2 weeks if her pneumonia is atypical.

I love a good Cassie update. Pneumonia treated with antibiotics is much better than what we'd thought before. Thanks for sharing - makes my heart happy. Love a small spotted dog. And an Angel. And their mama.
