    Default We got chips!

I have always wanted to have the kids micro chipped but my vet charges 50.00 a dog. I planned to have it done when the vet bill got down to a manageable amount but something always happened to one of them to add to the bill.

I was in Tractor Supply a couple weeks ago. When I checked out, the clerk gave me a flyer advertising their new nationwide Low Cost Vet Clinic. They do Micro Chipping for 15.00 a dog with no annual fee to keep the registry active!

We went to today's clinic. I filled out the paperwork and the vet gave all the dogs a free exam and they got chipped. Nobody even flinched or cried. The total cost was 49.00 for all 3 dogs.

So if you, or you know of someone who wants to have their dog chipped, you can go to your local Tractor Supply and ask them when their clinic is scheduled or you can go to www.PetVet.PawsPlus.com to see when they will be at a Tractor Supply Store near you.

That is totally awesome! I am sure they were excited when you told them chips were involved.

That's a great deal! I got mine done when the local animal shelter had a deal on them. It was cheap and I got to write it off as a donation

The nearest shelter that does chipping is in Knoxville, 80 miles away and they charge 10.00.

Yeah Lisa - they thought potato chips were involved. Oops!

I'm glad it is done. I always worried 'What if.' Now, at least there is a chance of getting them back if they decide to take to the open road.

Sadly the wrong kind of chips, say the dogs !! But that's really awesome, Tracy. Patti came with a microchip, and I still need to update the info on the database. I've been holding off in case we move .
